Author: Dr. Dimitrios Kampolis

Summary:

Born in Athens, Greece, in 1976, I always remember watching the day sky for weather phenomena and the night sky for constellations and looking for explanations on earth sciences like astronomy, geology, seismology, oceanography, and meteorology.

All these concerns have forced me to continue studying – first a BSc in Electronic Engineering and a MSc in Communication and Information Interactivity and then a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Environmental Studies and Climate Change – in the meantime, some graduate and postgraduate certificates in Natural Disasters and in Biomimetics have added more fields of knowledge.

With over 10 years of experience in weather forecasting on my website: www.youweather.com, it was the time to start building knowledge on meteorology and climate. The results came from the publications of “Magnetic Declination and Climate Change” and “Statistical Analysis for Long-Term Weather Forecast”, areas of high interest and deep field of research.

Currently, I have focused on possible climate processes due to factors that have been less studied, such as space weather, oceanic currents, biological factors, and chemical changes. I am convinced that the answer and the solution to the climate crisis are out there, and it is waiting for our analysis.
